What the service does
TattooGen AI creates AI-generated tattoo designs, tattoo try-on previews and tattoo stencils from text you write and photos you upload. The images are visual concepts, not professional or medical advice. They may contain mistakes, such as changed details or proportions. A try-on is a preview, not a promise of how a real tattoo will look or heal. Always work with a licensed tattoo artist.
AI models
Images are generated with Nano Banana 2 (Google's Gemini image model) as the main model and Seedream 5.0 Flash (ByteDance) as the backup model. Text you type and fixed prompts are checked by an automated content-safety scan before each generation.
Age and your account
You must be at least 18 years old to use the service. To make images or to pay, sign in with Google. You are responsible for activity on your account.
Your photos and our license
You keep all rights to the photos and text you submit. You give us permission to store and process them, and to send them to our image-generation providers, only to provide the service to you. You confirm that you have the right to upload each photo: upload only photos of yourself, or of an adult who gave you permission. Never upload photos of minors, or of celebrities or public figures.
The designs you create
You may use the designs you create for your own tattoos, prints and personal projects. Paid plans download files without a watermark. The Max plan also allows commercial use, such as selling designs or flash and using them for clients. AI-generated images may resemble existing artwork, logos or trademarks, may not be protected by copyright in every country, and we do not guarantee they are free of third-party rights. Do not use the service to copy another artist's work or a brand's logo.
Credits, plans and payments
- Every generated image costs 2 credits. A text-to-tattoo run makes 4 images, photo to tattoo makes 2, and a try-on or stencil makes 1.
- Free credits: 8 credits once, after Google sign-in. Free images carry a watermark. We may limit free credits per network or device to prevent abuse.
- Monthly plans (Pro, Pro+, Max) renew every month until cancelled. Plan credits are valid for that billing month and do not roll over. You can cancel any time in Settings → Billing; you keep your credits until the end of the paid month and are not charged again.
- Prices are shown in US dollars. Orders are processed by Waffo, our payment provider and merchant of record, which handles checkout, payment, applicable taxes and receipts.
Refunds
Full details are in our Refund Policy. Images that fail to generate, or that are blocked by the content-safety check, refund their credits automatically.
Acceptable use
The full rules are in our Acceptable Use Policy. No sexual content, hate symbols, extremist or terrorist imagery, graphic violence, real people's likenesses without consent, or other brands' logos. No scraping, reselling access, automated bulk use or attempts to bypass limits or payments. We may suspend accounts that break these rules.
Availability and liability
We work to keep the service running but do not guarantee it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, the service is provided "as is", and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
